Pattinson y Pierce en "The Rover"

Ha hecho más ruido del que merece, es cosa de dejar que el tiempo ponga las cosas en su lugar. Lo que si es ciertto, y una sorpresa es que Robert Pattinson da una actuación pasable, ahora sí, yo soy de la opinión que con Cosmopolis también es más el hype que la realidad.

No deja de salvar el día pero su ininteligible pronunciación y lo que hace con su lenguaje corporal podrían confirmar que el tipo puede actuar.

En serio no quisiera ser el tipo que tenga que hacer los sub-títulos de su personaje.

And yet, I don't see how someone would do a global site about mobile, or cellphones.

As you know some lazy SOB stole my Nokia N73 recently and I'm now smartphoneless because of that poor idiot.

There are sites that focus on tracking information about mobiles and there are site that focus on Mobile phone deals, Omio is a little bit of both, today they're showing some links to the debate about iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS in their blog.

They were also right when doing some predictions for the Mobile World Congress some of them being that we're going to see appstores everywhere and weird yet to be announced plans for them, something that matches what I was telling you guys in another blog about the battle in the U.S. between the Pre and the new (back then un announced) iPhone, that now we know has Palm playing badly, since there were some supply issues, let's see what happens since in their Monday announcement apple looks to have a winner wit the iPhone 3gs (T Mobile in Holland has leaked some speccs)and Mobile OsX 3.0 update.

The comparison functionality in omio is unmatched, sadly, not al carriers are available and we know that even global players like Nokia (leader almost everywhere but the United States) sell some handsets with a regional or carrier lock. so not everyone will be able to get all the benefits from sites like this, but the review section is useful to everyone looking for opinion from fellow gadget lovers about a particular model. (ebarrera said it well)

Nowadays I'm using a dumb phone from Nokia, that makes tweeting from it or checking my e-mail a lackluster and frustrating experience, I miss the N-73, I really became a fan of N-series and S60 and perhaps my next phone will be from Nokia as well, N95, N96, N97 are among my options, as of today N97 that was announced at the same time the finally made up their mind about (do you remember the twango days) ovi, is the one that catches more stares in the nokia flagship stores around the world, and I shall start looking for nokia n97 deals soon, well as soon as I get the money for it, I would be really happy if the mobiles from the Kddi lineup were available worldwide, like the 簡単ケータイ W62PT from Pantech.

Give Omio a chance, if not for the deals at least for the reviews.

Ah the cellphone, ton telephone portable, the mobile phone, el celular, 携帯電話, or however you'd like to call that gadget that follows you everywhere and that according to some writers has completely killed off suspense.

Everyone wants their cellphone to make a statement, to be unique and in order to do so, you see people buying expensive models that are special editions like the Hummer ones, or with a designer names attached to it, or stupid phones engraved with gold, that people with tons of disposable income buys. The other way around is what Japanese girls do to their cellphones, you know, those accessories that are way bigger and way heavier than the phone itself.

What people that does not wish to burn money or can't look kawaii do is personalizing the phone aspect with themes, Ringtones, and screensavers. And in that moment you know if your carrier and your model selection were right, in most cases you can make those items yourself and transfer them to tour mobile using a computer, in some cases you can't, either your phone is locked, or you lack the knowledge, but do not fear, there are places where you can get that content tailored to your model.

Woody Allen, ese director que tantos años estuvo identificado solamente con las clases privilegiadas de Manhattan ha estado encaprichado con algunos elementos en los últimos años, aparte de que al señor
le gustan las asiáticas (como a mi), Scarlett Johansson le ha embrujado (¿a qué hombre le podría ser indiferente este mujeron?) y también insiste en hacer una carrera en Europa (admirable que a su edad todavía tenga ganas de iniciar y probar suerte) lo que lo ha llevado a superar la marca de una cinta por año, y como le pasa a tantos otros directores tan longevos y tan reconocidos desde hace años, está constantemente alternando entre malas cintas y grandes películas.

Cuando yo ví Vicky, Cristina, Barcelona, desconocía que la definen como una comedia, pero de algún modo es claro que la situación que describe
es muy irreal, tan es así que estamos propensos a creer que es cierta.

Recuerdo que todo el tiempo estaba pensando para mi

"¿De verdad Woody Allen escribió ...ésto?"..."WOW"

Había tantos elementos, la pareja hecha el uno para el otro, pero que no puede vivir junta, los artistas que viven a tope, la insatisfacción crónica, el no saber lo que se quiere, el creer que se tiene todo perfectamente planeado, el buscar a una ex-pareja en todas las demás personas, el sólo saber que es lo que no se quiere, el viaje, el idioma distinto, la lingua franca, la situación tan sui-generis, las dos bellas actrices.

La cinta me atrapo, lo más increíble es que cuando termino, la verdad es que no sabía que decir de ella, ¿era buena?, ¿Me había gustado?, ¿las hormonas que me despertaron Penelope y Scarlett nublaban mi juicio?

No lo sabía, sólo sé que me encanto y que en algún momento, en la búsqueda de uno a kilómetros del hogar, me vi muy cuestionado.

No les puedo decir muchas cosas, sin arruinar las sorpresas de la cinta.
Eso si, los hijos de puta que le pusieron el título accesorio de "Un lío amoroso", parecen querer enfatizar la naturaleza cómica del filme y sentirse los genios que le rescatan la taquilla.

Que cinta tan extraña, tan llena de cuestionamientos, de bromas sutiles, de mujeres bellas.
Bien por Allen, casi lo podemos perdonar por Los inquebrantables.


Lo único que arruino mi día en el cine, fue que andaba "en la lela " (distraido)y asistí en miércoles (en México es probablemente el día más concurrido porque es más barato)

Max Payne....meh

¿quién dice que Mark Whalberg es un actor con mucho potencial?

Creo que hasta él sabe que no es cierto, o es muy cuerdo y sabe que no hay que tomarse la vida demasiado en serio y por eso hace esos papeles como el de "The happening" y ahora el de Max Payne, malas cintas en las que él colabora a llevarlas al fondo.

Si nos acordamos del careto que tenía el modelo del primer Max Payne, que parecia ser víctima de un estreñimiento crónico nos damos cuenta de que a pesar de que tenía un mundo de libertades don Whalberg no deja de ser una versión aún más acartonada de Max.

La cinta es de FOX, corta, diverge mucho del argumento del juego y aún así no iba tan mal, hasta que Max consume la droga Valkyr y después de eso nos hace recordar la muy mala adaptación de Doom, y eso que Uwe Boll no está involucrado en ésta ocasión (gracias a dios) , hasta Mila Kunis se ve mal en el papel de Mona Sax (y eso es difícil) y pocas veces he visto una cinta derrumbarse tan pronto, me parece que es una prueba de que si bien el argumento era muy bueno para un medio interactivo como el juego, ya no se sostiene cuando nada más somos espectadores y que las personas que se encargaron de ésta historia, necesitan un "reality check" porque se sobre-emocionaron y lo arruinaron en cosa de minutos.

El aspecto técnico no está mal, el sonido posicional es muy bueno, tanto que con ésta historia tan pobre de verdad ayuda a la inmersión.

Definitivamente Max Payne es para verse en el cine, pero si te invitan y si no quieres una cinta que te haga pensar.

Me da gusto ver al buen Max en la pantallota, lo malo es que es Mark Whalberg, que no puede ni competir con un modelo tridimensional aunque lo hace bien cuando camina como el personaje del juego (las animaciones que eran el coco de los desarrolladores a inicios de la decada) y lo peor de todo es que podemos decir que la adaptación de Hitman está mejor que ésta agresión.
